As a benifits reviewer I have seen hundreds of people pay bills that should have been taken care of from medical insurance policies. A. Make sure you understand the basics of your policy. Do you have a co-pay? What is your deductible? MAKE SURE YOU LOOK FOR THOSE AMOUNTS AS THEY ADD UP ON YOUR (EOB) EXPLINATION OF BENIFITS. B. Just because the claim is denied by the insurance doesn't mean it's not covered. Many are simply coded wrong. Always ask for a review. I review claims from BC\BS United Health Care Delta Dental Cole's Vision as well as Davis Vision
