Kenny's big problem was that he was lazy. Tell Kenny to clean up, and he would not do it. To make a point, Dad decided to teach Kenny a lesson by putting sand in some of the trashcans, then telling Kenny to do it. Kenny had sweat on his brow as he lugged the trashcans.
