Hopeless
This is a very short story I wrote some time ago. I've been told it'd make a good introduction to a horror story of some sort. The story (536 words): Hopeless The car was out of gas, and it was dark out. He clutched the steering wheel and pushed the accelerator as though the sheer desire to move would provide fuel for the automobile in place of gasoline.
