The issue of whether or not depleted uranium (DU) from U.S. Army tank shells poses a health threat to our troops and civilians in Iraq has been in the news for a long time. Reports by the New York Daily News two years ago this month purported that some members of the New York Army National Guard were suffering skin rashes that may be linked to DU exposure.
