I'm a vegetarian. Have been for years. And I never force this lifestyle choice onto anyone. However, the evidence mounts that vegetarianism is a key part of the evolution of humanity. On the one hand, the Jains and Buddhists insist that the adoption of a vegetarian diet is a step towards world peace; refusing to exploit or kill ANY life-form makes it impossible for us to exploit or kill each other. Also, raising livestock for meat is a hugely inefficient way of producing food, and actually creates some of the hunger in the world. This blog simply brings you the facts. You make up your own mind.
