The Seven Wonders of the World...........
Students in a high school class were asked to list the seven wonders of the world.....after several votes the class finally agreed on the following list: 1. Egypt's Great Pyramids 2. The Taj Mahal 3. Panama Canal 4. Empire State Building 5. St. Peter's Basilica 6. The Eiffel Tower 7. My ex-wife had started taking flying lessons ..........
about the time our divorce started. She got her license shortly before our divorce was final, later that same year. Yesterday afternoon, she narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft she was piloting when she was forced to make an emergency landing in Southern Tennessee because of bad weather. Some could call it a crash; an accident at the least. Our kids were with me at the Beach House. National Transportation Safety Board officials have issued a preliminary determination citing pilot error...

24 tons of steel from the World trade Center is in the Bow of this ship....
This is interesting, and you would think it would have been widely known.........the USS New York. With a year to go before it even touches the water, the Navy's amphibious assault ship USS New York has already made history. It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center. USS New York is about 45 percent complete and should be ready for launch in mid-2007.
