A house?
Could be we have found one--a log house, two storeys with kitchen/dining and family room down, and 4 bedrooms up. It has some peculiarities... bit it also has a bit over 10 acres attached to it in an area zoned for 5-acre minimum lots. The 10 are all covered in trees and undergrowth. There is a wide lawn surrounding the house. A country lawn, full of dandylions, not a smooth turf by any means. There is a spacious deck off the woods-facing side of the house, with french doors opening from living...

Three small ribbons at the County Fair
Hopkin Greenfrog and Sunset Kayaker each got 2nd place reds, and the Broken Angel a white third. No firsts this year. Husband is doing well... physical therapy this morning, his range of movement better than a couple of days ago. Physical therapist is not on my scowl list--happily, there are exceptions to those I ranted about earlier today in 'Loosely Speaking.'

So far, so good...
Husband is perkier today, though the numbing nerve block has worn off, and he is feeling the pain. He has one of those self-administered pain med buttons. And there is another to call the nurse any time. A friend of his was once in a similar circumstance, stuck in a hospital bed and wanting the nurse, he pushed the call button. No one came, so he pushed again... and again... and again... finally worked out that he was pushing the meds button... and didn't really give a damn any more if the nurse...
