Following the Torch
The Olympics are on! I've been watching today, and watched part of the opening ceremonies last night, and remembering the time I was part of the Olympic Torch relay. It must have been 25 years ago, or so... I was driving alone up in British Columbia, south of Vancouver. It was evening after a long day, and I had stopped for a light before turning right onto the main east/west highway. It took me a while to realize that the light had remained red for a considerable time-perhaps because I was a...

My husband just called...
He's been out of town, and called to ask how things are here. Seems he had an auditory hallucination around 3:30 in the morning, of me screaming his name. I asked if I was angry, and he said no, not that kind of screaming. More like when I'm trying to get his attention. Well. Is that any more revealing than that he waited until 10 AM to find out if anything actually was going on?
