Waking to another Friday
This day starts cold and dreary outside, warm and light here inside. It is a moment of conscious gratitude that I am here, that I have enough, that nothing threatens. There is the happy consciousness that every winter gives way eventually to spring, and that weather in these parts may be bleak one day, but generous and lovely another day soon.
