Into the mountains...
My sister in Estes Park has sold her house, and for the past several months has been preparing to move to a smaller place, an apartment in a senior community in Boulder. She has had some real emotional crises along the way, fighting depression and the particular weariness of the boxing and disposing of things of a lifetime. She lost her husband to prostate cancer years ago, saw our parents to their ends, and now she and I are the ones left. So it is a pleasure to drive up to the mountains and...
