another goodbye...
I heard a sound night before last, but was busy and distracted and didn't go check it out. It was my oldest, biggest, loveliest goldfish, the white one with the long tail, leaping out of the tank and hitting the floor. I found her there in the morning. Now she has gone wherever small creature's spirits go, and her body has gone to nurture the spring planting, whenever that happens. Embers, on the other hand, is actually doing better again.
