We have missed so many astronomical wonders this past year because of overcast skies--What a fine thing it is to have a sky brilliantly clear tonight, to observe the lunar eclipse from first shadow to totality, and now moving out of shadow. I've gotten a few good enough shots though my skills with this camera are not as great as the occasion demands, and it focuses when it wants to, not necessarily when I want it to!
