As soon as the evening light began to fade, the neighbors started with their cannon-like explosives, their illegal fireworks. Then when darkness had finally settled in, there was a magnificent loud rumble... Thunder! And soon, heavy rain and more lightning and thunder totally put paid to the neighbor's noisy show.
