A jar of potatoes
I just put 5lbs of Yukon Gold potatoes, a really large eggplant, and two big halved artichokes in foil, into the oven. It is just into the 60s this morning, and will be 92F this afternoon, so it's a good time to get the baking done and the oven turned off while the day is still reasonably cool. It will take several days to eat the taters, between Charlie and me, and the eggplant will also be spooned out of the skin and saved for sandwiches with peppers and onions and some other roasted...
