Yesterday was the day!
The young doves left their over-crowded little nest. I looked out, and there they were sitting on the table in the corner, looking a bit unsure. I'm glad I took a couple of pictures because when I looked again later in the day, they had gone. It's said that the proper job of a parent is to reach this day when the kids fly off into their own lives. It's one of those happy/sad moments. I hope they do well out there where the winds are strong and merciless, where food is less easy to come by, where... Sign in to see full entry.
