Watching again, my favorite "Pride and Prejudice"
It is usually referred to as the Colin Firth version, but in fact, he shares the top billing honors with Jennifer Ehle who is the most charming Elizabeth Bennet ever, and the actress has the most subtly expressive eyebrows! The 'odious Mr. Collins' is played with delightfully smarmy unctuousness by David Bamber. I've seen him as Cicero in the series, ROME, and in other character roles especially in British productions.
