Okay, so here is what happened: I was coming inside from the back porch carrying a big old hammer and some other stuff, caught my foot on the leg of the plant stand by the door, had no hands free nor room to swing the other leg out to catch myself, ended up face-planting with the hammer and my glasses in between me and the carpet.
