Wedding is over, honeymoon is returned from...
Grandma no longer has to jump up at 6 am to rouse kiddies for school... I had thought to rent a car and drive up into the New England autumn, but a bit of a cranky ligament situation in my right knee has brought me to the decision that the next 5 days before I fly home I had best keep to the local trees, which are, after all, turning lovely fairly quickly now. Next year in New England...! Meantime, here I am in the DC area, off to the west, in Maryland, with 5 days to spend anywhere I like......
