Husband is perkier today, though the numbing nerve block has worn off, and he is feeling the pain. He has one of those self-administered pain med buttons. And there is another to call the nurse any time. A friend of his was once in a similar circumstance, stuck in a hospital bed and wanting the nurse, he pushed the call button.
