Christmas was quietly fine here--Yes, Offy, there was a GPS involved... My husband is frequently in unfamiliar cities for his fencing tournaments, and he can get lost going from one end of the house to the other... My far-flung family sent wonderful gifts, and there will be no returns, I think, this year. One of the best I got is an 11 volume set of Will and Ariel Durant's HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION.
