Sunday morning coming on
Good Sunday morning! I think I know why the magpies are yapping at all the neighborhood cats. I heard one going off at the big orange tom that visits sometimes. As the bird yapped, the cat calmly went over the fence, out of the yard and to wherever he goes next. And I could hear more yappings, but they were unpracticed voices: I think the magpies have a nest nearby! I spent some time in the early sun, poking around at plants and garden.
