bad luck/good luck
I had luck today. Days of staying home, nights of single-digit and below-zero temperatures... Today's shopping plans were delayed when the truck frantically did not start. It did some odd pulsating stutters, but that was it. It sounded like bad luck, and no groceries. The AAA agent on the phone offered me a choice: one rescuer brings just the jump start, the other is prepared to check battery and alternator, and carries new batteries on board just in case.
