West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected in the lower elevations. West winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts in excess of 75 mph expected in the higher terrain. The leaves on the big maple are rattling and many are still hanging on. It's the same through the neighborhood, with leafy trees, while at least on evergreen down the street is all decked out with Christmas lights.
