Off to the mountains...
In a little while I will be heading out of the Springs and up to Estes Park where my sister lives. We don't see each other often enough! It is a little less springtime up there than down here, but it will feel like just another day of erratic Colorado weather. The route goes through some lovely geology, and forests ranging from the lower-elevation pines up through the aspens, all the way to subalpine firs, one of my favorite trees.
