Embers, auditions, etc
Embers is clearly feeling better: I crushed up some of her favored kibble--the only thing she considers food--and when she started investigating her empty dish I poured some in there, and she just started in on it like she had not eaten for four days. In fact, she hadn't eaten since the night before the surgery. There was concern that the kibble would mess with the sutures (the dissolving kind) before the gums have healed enough, and she really will not eat soft food of any kind, so it had to be...
