What to write...
...Summer is a strange time for me, with the children being back and forth between homes so much of the time. There is much more alone time for me. Sometimes I feel like a very strange breed of parent in our culture of individualism. Parents seems to parent in the context of meeting their own needs first and foremost, thinking this will be in everyone's best interest. Before having children, I got to do so much of what I wanted to do: advanced degrees and training, career advancements.... So...
