A summing up
Imagine if religions of the world had never taught that bodies should conform to spiritual truths and realities. Imagine if religions had left the physical aspects of life to physicians and scientists, and stayed focused on spiritual health and well-being. It isn't true of all religions, of course, but the ones most in our awareness as the descendents of Europeans, with religions based in interpretations and translations of the Bible's Old and New Testaments, and the Koran.
