Many long years ago, when I was a freshman at Western Reserve U in Cleveland, I had a friend in the neighboring school, Case Institute of Technology. I took classes in Classics, and Anthropology, and French and stuff. He took hard-core Physics... He taught me this. On any test in Physics or Math, just as in grade school and high school, students were required to show on paper how they had arrived at the solution to their problem.
