Vampires, Eh?
One of the drawbacks with not hiding your light under a bushel is that, in this sometimes murky world, the light attracts things: Moths, naturally, and other insects, and as you might expect, the odd vampire or two. The brighter you shine, the more those critters come rattling at your window... And if it's wide open, they will come in! As Oceandancer observes in her blog not far from here (check my blogs list) there are real vampires, and they suck up a person's vitality like Dracula sucks...
