Walking the knife's edge
The thing is, "we" will never ever all be at the same level of anything at the same time, nor agree on the same values, or same best solutions. Money is very useful; greed is very destructive. We are a species in our adolescence. While there have always been the mature among us, the mature are only lately beginning to be in percentages of consequence, of the whole human population--which is way bigger than sustainable with current behaviors.
