Slacker
I'm such a slacker. I've just finished moving, hence my lack of updates. I hope you'll all still read me!;-) I will be catching up on my reads over the next few days.

The Cause of Cancer
My mom just called to tell me that she saw a show that said getting your hair colored can cause cancer. She tells me not to dye my hair anymore. I think that's silly. I just want to enjoy myself, look how I want to. And besides the question these days is... what doesn't cause cancer? We can't eat...

Dear Writer's Block
Dear Writer's Block, How I despise thee. The pain in my wrist as I try to splash ink onto my empty paper is unbearable. I would like to evict you from my life, but if you need somewhere to stay I would be happy to introduce you to my ex-boyfriend. Maybe then you could torture him instead. Goodbye,...

Metaphor for Life
My life is a wooden door that sits at the end of a long corridor. I seems simple; but once you study it, you realize there is a complex world behind it. People look at my door, closed and keeping it’s emotions on the other side. Most of the time, they are unwilling to take the journey down the long...

One Year From Now
One year ago one of my teachers made us outline our goals for one year from then. The goals I wrote are in black, and what is actually happening now is in blue. In one year I will have successfully completed my first year of college. I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Musical...

It's Not Due Until Monday
There’s a big paper due on Monday morning; but instead of wasting your weekend with a pen and paper in hand, I’m going to teach you how to effectively put off your paper until Sunday night. This scenario is also known as procrastination: to put off doing something, especially out of habitual...
