About this Blog

Only A Paper Moon is an urban fantasy novel written in 2006. Marcus is a clinically depressed, borderline alcoholic, chronically obese psychic who's empty semblance of a life takes a sudden turn the night he runs into teenage Duncan at his favorite hangout. Suddenly, Marcus is cast in the role of teacher, caregiver and protector while homicidal witches, angry werewolves and psychopathic mafia Dons unleash everything in their arsenals in a bid to put Marcus and young Duncan in the ground. When Marcus reaches out to friends he'd thought he'd left behind years ago there is a small chance that he'll beat the odds and live out the summer; but not even a psychic can figure out if Marcus can survive where his heart wants to lead him.
