Why do we have to wait for three months to see who has initially signed up?

I asked the Blog support team how I could find out if someone signed up under my referral link. Unfortunately, I receive an unsatisfactory answer - Wait three months. Okay, although I don't even agree with the requirement that you must wait three months to receive any monies from a sign up, I can... Sign in to see full entry.
