Hanging there!

I've decided to try staying the whole year: must people tell me that it get easier after Xmas. I still wake up at 5am with nausea and pain in the stomach (anxiety I think), but it usually subside when I get in the car and leave. So, on most days, I arrive at the school in not a too bad shape. High school hell!

I'm afraid that I really do hate it! I hate the ambiance of highschool with all of its restrictions, I hate the courses I have to teach, I don't really hate all the kids, but certainly some of them....Brief, I want out of here! Week 2, surviving mode...

Already the second week of school and I am surviving. Most of the kids are alright, but you need only 3 or 4 in a class to make it impossible for everyone else... First week of actual teaching: it was not easy, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be! I have three groups of between 20 and 15 students each, but some of the kids never come. Sad and happy events.

Quite a few things have happened or are happening now. First of all, a very sad day it was yesterday: we had to have our old dog euthanized because of a spleen cancer.
