I don't make it a habit of reading poetry on the Blogit anymore, but when I do, I almost want to puke. Some of the poems here are so bad that I think people must be spending too much time in the Hallmark card aisle. Real poetry uses imagery, symbolism, metaphors, similes, active and strong verbs...
