Summer's Bloom
I follow the thread of lovers towards a floating sphere where moon rhythms rock the stars in silent, glowing flame. I take in the Hollyhock of summer's bloom close to my heart. A romantic fever awakens thrice empowered by the words "I love you." Dancing, swirling, moving to Celtic beat in gossamer...

My Angel
My angel, my protector, my everything, made flesh just for me... Your words I guard ever so sacredly like a jewel in a sachet next to my once broken heart. Your wings wave above me like a halo we can share. Mine was stolen somewhere along the way, but you seem to believe it's there, though I cannot...

Year of Water
I give you a sliver from the moon that you might take it and make it full. My life is no longer lived by the dark of its light, but rather by the fullness that moves the rivers within. I was promised the ocean, by the stars themselves. Feng Shui bodies gave me the Year of Water, and I could not...

At the Park
Hills of green stretch in toward a small city lake where town dwellers gather at its fountain. I sit and collect memories where moss and stone in unison embrace the sun. The shadow of a kite entertains even the ducks who move to the rhythm of the wind upon the water.

Thunderhead
Rippling colors off the austere waters make all things croon, deep groans crash from sobering waves at high tide. We jump in with words and no life jackets. All decorum stripped, skinny dipping in dark truths, immersed in painstaking manifestations. Will the avatar of beauty return or will it be...

The Marionette
Dare I give voice to black tulips fallen off broken stems, vines made of paper mache dreams, ritual reaction from buttons pushed on the Jack-in-the-box? I am but a marionette whose puppeteer rules the theater of comedy, but often it is a bloody tragedy for fools like me that dance to choreographed...

Nomad
The granduer of untangled simplicity sought among canyons, aster and gems. Sacred pearls hidden within the manna falling from the deliberate hand of a heaven, unforgotten. Silver-laced wishes follow her from above, ribbons of clouds like sky fire to spark the roaming wonder in her soul. Settling for...

At the Cesspool
Shadows bend into gray roads. Pine-shaped prayers from earth to Heaven echo in the wind a song of the times, a generation of doubters, saints in garbs of worldly colors, textures, black plastics melting into dirty waters. We all drink from the same cesspool. It's a wonder some still see God.

Because
Because you give me room to breathe, I draw closer... Because you place no demands on me, I give more than usual. Because you listen without judgment, I speak without censure. Because you seem to understand, I share more of me. Because you see me as I am, yet still love me, I can't help but fall...

Valley of Lavender
I find myself in the valley of lavender, staring at a pale moon, sad blue fragrant light tries to lift the clouds above sailboats lodged and deserted against a rocky shoreline. I cannot see above the darkest mountain before me for I am in this valley of purple clusters, where prayers groaned...
