The War of The Roses

At that instant he saw Richard strode into the office, young Gary immediately knew that he was in a terribly foul mood. Everyone in the office knew Richard's distinctive scowl whenever the middle-aged man's fuse burnt out and intuitively stayed away from his path whenever that happened. Gary would have loved to stay out of Richard's way on a day such as this, but he knew that it would be impossible... "Come with me into the office..." Richard barked to Gary without slowing down his pace, "Now!"... Sign in to see full entry.

Dum Spiro, Spero

It is funny how you can recall things that took place eons ago, but not what you had for breakfast by midday. I vividly remembered walked out of the school's compound with a heavy heart on that hot and humid Friday afternoon in May... That was so many years ago. Several of these loud and inconsiderate people had spilled over to the outlet proper and they were occupying the hard plastic seats of the dining area, talking loudly amongst themselves... The Bank Robbery

Johari tried his best to stifle the yawn. It had been a long day at work for him and a sense of boredom had gnawed him for the past hour, threatening to dull his senses significantly - a situation that could prove dangerous in his line of work. Johari quickly stood up from his chair and allowed himself a quick stretch, before he folded his arms - little activities that would help keep him from being distracted from the job at hand. While Johari looked forward to knocking off from work, that... Sign in to see full entry.
