We choose a beaming sunny day to go on our spelunking excursion. We hiked a mile and a half east before coming to the butte with the cave. At the dry gray base, you notice a small, wrinkly opening that is no more than six feet high and three feet wide. "Is this it? It looks quite narrow to me. We would have to crawl on our knees."
