Drove to Phoenix and back today. It should be 90 minutes, but took 3 hrs.
Things accidentally messed up the traffic flow around Ray Rd. all the way to the airport exit. I drove up smoothly, but slowed to 5 mph from Chandler to the end of Tempe. The same, but different thing happened on the way back and that trip took 3 hours, too. I had planned a four hour round trip. HAH. The radio said that our highway patrol cameras and speed readers had registered 166,000 or so speeders in the recent surveys from Tucson to Phoenix. Maybe a one month period. They had decided to...
