Our Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead Observance, a photo slide show.
I took days to build the altares and they were not finished when photographed here in the slide show, but had fruit, foods, drinks and flowers added later. The celebration was lovely and made lovelier because it included the group of elementary school teachers studying at the U of Arizona for one year, who attended dressed in their native pueblo clothing. They are all from Mexico and Guatemala and need to practice their English more. I am going to try to find more places for them to interact... Sign in to see full entry.
