Thanksgiving in the New America

I abandoned my dirt filled house. Never put in a dog door and fail to plant grass all over the back garden. I have eight inches of soft powdery dirt on absolutely everything. I drove up to Mom's house to gather for the ride over to my sister's house for our Thanksgiving meal. My sister called about two hours later wondering why the heck we were staying at Mom's talking when we were supposed to be at her house. We all left laughing (about twenty of us).
