I ran out of food and it was a good thing.
Yesterday I was invited to a sumptuous meal at my VietNamese sister, Thu's new house in the foothills. She made Mexican food for us and some of her normal fabulous food. I ate little, but ate so very well. She rocks on tamales, from scratch and her machaca was wonderful. It was her daughter's birthday and her house warming and a get together of friends and relatives visiting from Houston and Saigon. Fun.
