Life without dogs would be so very, very, very simple, I think.

Baby has been attacking the other two dogs, about twice a week, more as they are all locked inside too much. Autumn lives totally hidden and I hardly know that she lives here. Mosinha, being young, pokes the tiger often and doesn't get attacked as much. Mosinha, the escape dog, had me going crazy... Sign in to see full entry.

Wire haired terriers sweep up burrs with their coats. She escaped.

Mosinha escaped when I went to turn off the hose and took my eyes off of her for just a minute. She jumped the wall and I grabbed the stinky liver treats and leash and followed her onto the street. My neighbor, who helped me before, saq us and called his dog into the front garden. His boy attracts... Sign in to see full entry.

I am getting fast and grabbing Mosinha's tail before she jumps.

I pull her backwards down off the wall and into the bamboo forest, much to her surprise and then pull her into my arms and tell her to go inside as she has blown her free time once again. I am learning to read her face as she comtemplates the end run. Bad dog. Baby just wants to play soccer the... Sign in to see full entry.

Got a mousie served to me for breakfast.

I woke up this a.m. and stepped down onto the floor, and thank goodness I sleep in socks. My toes felt and tried not to crush something soft beneath them. They did a Warner Bros. cartoon, rigid lift into the air to avoid what they believed to be something that should not be under them. The EAK A... Sign in to see full entry.

Still training Mosinha to act upon hearing the words Hot Dog.

Once a day, I pull out the package and hold it up, saying its name and then giving everyone a small piece of hot dog to wolf down. This training has helped, for when she escapes now, she comes right to me, the minute that she sees me on the street and hears me say, "Hot dog!" I have stood at the... Sign in to see full entry.

The 700 or so rescued animals all found homes within seven days.

The puppy and bird mill was busted and you all heard about it, I'm sure. I prayed fervently for homes for all the animals, even the ones who were ill. My sister prayed for real and decent adoptions. The animals are so valuable, that my sister feared that other stupid people would adopt and breed and... Sign in to see full entry.

Mosinha was sure that I was trying to kill her, but it was just a shower.

I invited her into the bathroom and she was happy to be in there with me, until I turned on the water and reached for her collar. She tried every evasive maneuver in the book, but I finally stopped her under the falling water. I washed her back then the her front and tummy. She gave up after only... Sign in to see full entry.

I painted Mosinha's face today.

She jumps the brick wall and runs all over the street. I want people to feel kindly towards her if they find her before I do. I usually just paint eyebrows on my dogs, but for her, full face mask. I gave her orange and turquoise eyebrows and the painted her muzzle top from her nose up to her... Sign in to see full entry.

Dementia setting in. I actually Googled, "Buy a Tiger" yesterday. Why?

The idea of Google is such a wonderful one, that every once in awhile, I just let my idiot mind wander and I enter something and then learn about it. It turns out that too many idiots in Florida and Texas own tigers and that over 900 were unwanted in the recent past and of that 900, only 15 or so... Sign in to see full entry.

Mosinha jumped the wall and Baby came to tell and I went outside.

I locked Baby in the house to keep her quieter, though she barks incessantly until we return. I grabbed the dog leash and walked outside, leaving the garden gate open. As I stepped into the street, I saw Mosinha run up on another escaped dog and yelp like a sissy (my little miss terror) when he... Sign in to see full entry.
