Worried about my Togolese friends

I was host mother to two lovely African students from Togo. I came to know their mother and father who visit once a year. Wonderful people. Major Urban Disturbance in Phoenix MLK March, and Deportation??!?!

My brother said that he saw people running from Central Ave. in Phx. onto his street. Told his wife and neighbor to go inside and then asked running people what was happening. Reality T.V. almost like an Stephen King novel and film

I watched Mexican television the other night and saw a live news show being broadcast and decided to see what was going on. About this Blog

I wondered if anyone was reporting from the frontlines of American Society, embedded with the poverty stricken and reporting on what happens each day when you live in the greatest country on earth and earn enough to survive and not much else. I wondered if anyone was explaining America to others and thought that, since I was already embedded in this ongoing cultural experiment, I might tell what it's like.
