Email from my 85 yr. old mother, protesting Bush's visit in Tucson, today.

Here is what she wrote, after I cleaned up grammar, etc. as best I could....she uses no paragraphs anymore, and she was an English teacher for decades. "Penny (my head shaved in a friend's cancer solidarity, sister) and I went off early this morning, up by the turn off to Pima Canyon where we waved... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I wondered if anyone was reporting from the frontlines of American Society, embedded with the poverty stricken and reporting on what happens each day when you live in the greatest country on earth and earn enough to survive and not much else. I wondered if anyone was explaining America to others and thought that, since I was already embedded in this ongoing cultural experiment, I might tell what it's like.
