This is a memorable Spring when after a 60 yr struggle to have harbor dike
repaired by U.S. Corps of Engineers, it's to happen.!!! We were in danger of losing the harbor because of the long delay. As a harbor of safe refuge from watercraft on Lake Superior, the ineffective dike cost lives, lost when boats could not enter to escape storms. Dike rebuilding begins soon! Sign in to see full entry.
